We are back from Paris and I have A LOT of pictures to post. Dustin's family came in from Missouri today for Thanksgiving so it might be a few days until we get all the pictures up. Happy Thanksgiving to all!!
This picture is a few months old, but it was the only picture I had of the 3 of us.
This is was happens to a plate full cookies sitting on the floor of your car after a car accident. My yummy spice cookies with cream cheese frosting ruined! That's right, I was hit last night. I was on my way to the church for the Relief Society Broadcast going around a bend in the road and the car coming towards me spun out of control and slid into my lane and hit me. I'm fine, just a little sore from the impact, but my car is really scratched up, the frame is bent and the driver side mirror came off and was completely smashed. It's going to need some definite work. (And of coarse it was our newer nicer car of the two). It could have been a lot worse. We were only inches away from it being a head on crash and luckily it was a 35 mile per hour zone, so neither of us we going super fast. I guess I can thank my lucky stars. Kinda bummed I missed the broadcast. The cookies were for a potluck that we having before hand, my car was a complete cream cheese mess. So it's going to be a major pain trying to get our car fixed, dealing with all the insurance phone calls and paperwork, rental cars, etc, etc. NOT looking forward to it.

Out to dinner the last night we were there at this cute little outdoor cafe. We went at 7pm and although the place was packed we were the only ones eating. People in Madrid don't eat dinner until 10 at night. I think we stood out like a sore thumb as American tourist who just wanted their food as opposed to everyone else who were just drinking, smoking and talking for hours.
And I can't mention our trip without the amazing experience of flying first class on an international flight. We had huge recliners with hotel like down pillows and comforters, and food galore. 4 courses consisting of shrimp and salmon and fillet mignon, desserts, fresh baked cookies etc, etc. The flight was about 8 hours and went by pretty fast. With food, endless movies, and comfortable sleeping we almost didn't want to get off the flight. (Okay that might be stretching it a little bit). We sure got spoiled though.
Yep, that's how I roll
All the leg room Dustin could want.
We were happy campers!
