Seattle

Before we headed to Hawaii we made a quick little stop in Seattle to see the fam. Always a good time!!

Hawaii!!

We had such a great time in Hawaii! The weather was warm and beautiful, the water was perfect and best of all we got to spend time with my sister Erin and her husband Jake. They moved down to Hawaii this last summer to attend BYU-Hawaii and to play on their basketball teams. They were great hosts, and we wish could have stayed just a little longer. But we sure had a fun time in the quick two and half days we were there.
Sunset Beach Dustin enjoying a ride on Erin and Jake's moped. The Laie Temple right there on BYUH campus had its open house while we were there. It was great timing! We were able to go and take a tour and see the whole temple. It was pretty much gutted and totally redone on the inside. The temple grounds are amazing as well, prettiest I have ever seen. I was also surprised at how old this temple is. It was built in 1919, and this will be the 2nd rededication.

I'm a bad blogger...

because we have been kind of boring lately. No trips, no events, just the usual day today routine. But here are some random pictures.

We have finally received some temperatures without a 9 in front of them. It's been beautiful and in the 70's for a week or so now, and we are all in heaven.

I cut a few inches off my hair. And then got bored with it a few weeks later. So then I chopped it again.

Just some pretty flowers from the hubs.
And I also have been baking entirely too much. Like "muffins that taste like doughnuts",
And cinnamon rolls
...with maple frosting. Pioneer Women is not a good influence on me. I blame her.
I am now officially on a two week no sweets fast. I'm only on day three, so we will see how it goes.
