Bahamas or Bust

When there is an opportunity to fly first class to the Bahamas for free, you better believe we will take it (even if it is just for 18 hours). I had to work on Saturday until one so Dustin picked me up from work and we went straight to the airport and off we went. It's kind of funny how we can fly to the Bahamas in an hour and 45 minutes but to fly home to see my family is a 5 hours flight. So for such a short flight we figured even the brief 18 hours we would be there would totally be worth it, And it was. It was so fun to escape life and hit the beach were all your worries just magically seem to fall away. Thanks Delta, we sure loved you this weekend!

Our cute hotel room. Views from our room.

Out on the beach. The water was sooo calm and warm!
Dinner time. Best pasta ever. And the dining room was so beautiful.
We didn't want to leave. But this weekend is Labor Day and we will be off again. Hopefully Spain? Stay tuned.

A few more pics from the weekend

My nephew and I. He sure knows how to smile for a picture.
I can't get enough of this kid.

Wedding Day

This past weekend I went back to Seattle for my cousin Tyson's wedding. It was a short and busy trip and such a blast seeing my immediate and extended family. The wedding was beautiful and Dustin was able to meet me and come for the last 24 hours I was there. It was actually the first time in 3 years that my whole immediate family has been together. The bride and groom looked amazing and it's always great to go home for a few days.

Dustin had fun chasing around our friend Stacey's son Jack. He's such a little cutie. (I'm referring to Jack of coarse, haha)

I'm back...

Okay, I guess I should come out of hiding. I'm back from my blogging hiatus due to Dustin and I traveling the last few weekends. A few weeks back we went to Atlanta and spent the day at the famous Aquarium. It was pretty cool and a good thing to do to beat the heat down here.

Millennium Park

The Jellyfish were my favorite. Huge crab and fish
