Attitude of Gratitude

We had a lot to be grateful for this Thanksgiving. We had beautiful weather, yummy food, lots of Christmas movies and games, and most importantly- quality time with our family. Dustin's family came in from Arkansas and Missouri to spend Thanksgiving with us. We couldn't have asked for a better holiday!

Relaxing at the park, and enjoying the 70 degree weather. We had a million of onions to grate, chop, and cook for all of our recipes. Joni used her grandmas trick of putting a piece of bread in your mouth to prevent tears, and it actually kind of worked! And the eating begins. Kayden was so excited about the pumpkin cheesecake. He could not stop talking about it. That's my kind of boy! The newlyweds first Thanksgiving. This is what I am most Thankful for. I am a lucky lucky girl. Just some of the grub. My dads stuffing was a hit, and my first apple pie from scratch wasn't a complete disaster!

Weekend in Arkansas

We flew over to Arkansas this weekend to spend the weekend with the Sherwood fam. Dustin's brother Jake and his family recently moved there for a job, so this was my first time visiting them in their new place in Arkansas. Dustin's parents, and his brother DJ and his wife came up from Missouri as well.

My sister-in-law Rachelle took me to this amazing craft and decor store that got me a little too excited for Christmas! They had the most beautiful decorations.
Even though my carry on was jammed packed, I managed to find the space to bring a few goodies home with me.
The cute boys.
The two that started it all!

We had a great weekend, even though it wasn't complete without Dustin's brother Josh and his family in New Jersey. But hopefully with the holidays around the corner we will get to see them sooner than later!
