For Cathy (and any others who would like to enjoy)
This Thanksgiving we went to dinner at the Smiths who are Enumclaw friends that now live in Michigan. We had a wonderful yummy dinner and I brought a cheese ball that seemed to be a big hit. My family has made it for years and years and this was the first time I've ever made it myself. It's super easy and so good! Thanks for having us Smiths!2 packages cream cheese (room temp)
1 block (16 oz) of extra sharp Cheddar cheese grated
1/2 white onion grated
1 large fresh garlic clove finely crushed
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
Mix all ingredients together until well blended with spoon or hands. Form into a large ball, roll in finely crushed pecans and refrigerate for a few hours. Set it out to soften before eating. Serve with an assortment of crackers.

He's Baaaaack
My awesome brother Chase just got home from his mission from Mexico yesterday. It was so good to talk to him on the phone last night and I am so extremely proud of him. I am just heartbroken that we cannot be in WA to see him and the rest of the fam for Thanksgiving, but I guess that's the life of poor college students! We love you Chase and are glad you are home safe and sound.

I think Dustin might feel a little like this...
The poor guy has been jet setting to Minnesota, Georgia, Florida and Illinois in the last 7 days on interviews, while trying to stay on top of school work, squeezing in some sleep and spending time with little old me. All this with a head cold. I would be tired too.

On a side note
I have been told 3 different times lately that I have an accent! Apparently since I don't nasally draw out all of my vowels like everyone here in Michigan, then it means that I am the one who talks weird. But who knows, maybe I do have accent and I am just in denial. I know I don't have the WA accent because I don't say "Warshington" instead of "Washington" and I don't say "fleg" instead of "flag" or "beg" instead of "bag". So if I do have an accent it must have come from somewhere. Anyways, I'll just assume for now that they are the weird ones and I'm the one who actually talks normal.
