Happy Father's Day Dad

Couldn't of asked for a better father. He is funny, smart, and a great example of hard work, faith, and a good attitude. He even started a little blog of his own. http://standingallamazed.blogspot.com/
Happy Fathers Day to all of you fathers out there.

It's a Girl

We had our sonogram yesterday to find out the sex of the baby. I'm not going to lie, I was sort of hoping that it was going to be a girl, and Dustin also said if he could choose he would want a girl first too. So we were both pretty excited when we got the news!

The ultrasound tech said she was sucking her little thumb.

I couldn't wait any longer to buy some cute stuff for our little girl. So we went last night and scored some great deals on these cute little items.
20 weeks. Half way there!

Memorial Day Weekend

We had a fun, jammed packed weekend with Dustin's family. We were grateful to all of them for making the drive our way from Missouri and New Jersey. During our family weekend we went to Palmyra NY...
And Niagara Falls...
Played on the shore of Lake Erie....
And went to Kirtland Ohio, among many other things...
Such a great weekend. Thanks Sherwoods for the good times.

I guess it's time for an Update

Yes, I realize that I have yet to blog since we have been in Erie. I guess it is due to more than one factor like pure laziness, lack of exciting things to post about and the fact that I have not been feeling so good because we are expecting a little baby!
We are very exciting for this new chapter in our lives and can't wait for the little one to come in October. We find out the sex in about 2 weeks.
Since we have been here Dustin has been super busy at GE, but is really liking his job. I have found a job in a salon but I am still waiting for my cosmetology license to transfer which is taking forever.
I flew Seattle for a week right after we moved to Erie to visit the family and I actually had to pay for the plane ticket! Bummer! Also not having a major airport in the area is quite a drag.
We took a trip to Cleveland to visit our friends Justin and Stacey before they moved away for good to Mississippi.
We celebrated our 5 year wedding anniversary and my 25th birthday in the last few weeks with low key dinners out, but unfortunately no pictures. Not only have I been bad at blogging but I have taken a hiatus from my camera.
The weather has improved and the snow finally melted. We have actually had some really nice days here and there the past few weeks.
We have a fun Memorial Day weekend planned with family so hopefully there will be pictures to come.

GA---->PA

Last dinner out with the Star Salon Crew Last day at the salon :(
Saying goodbye to friends
Our crazy place mid moving day
Downtown Atl, rolling out of town for the last time.
Almost there
And we arrived to the 'snow belt'
The move went very well and smooth. GE took care of everything for us and even packed, moved, and unpacked all of our things, and hauled off all the cardboard boxes. Nice! Dustin is crazy busy at work and I am figuring my job situation at the moment. My cosmetology license isn't going to transfer how I wanted it to, and I am going to have to take all of the PA state exams to get my license here. Ugh! Which will take months and hundreds of dollars. Awesome.
Anywho, So far so good here in Erie, minus the few blizzards thus far.

The Last Hoorah! London England!

On the plane. Excited and sad for our last and final Delta international trip!
Buckingham Palace
The Parliament Building
On the 'London Eye' a top the city
Chinese New Year celebration in Trafalgar's Square
Fish n' chips of coarse
Changing of the Queens' guard ceremony at Buckingham Palace
Big Ben
Herrods- Only the biggest, most amazing, fanciest department store I have ever been in. I believe it's one million square feet, 5 stories, with just about anything thing for sale that you could ever think of. It even has 13 restaurants and cafes inside.
My pictures truly do not do the inside justice.
The outside of Herrods. Ya, it was big.
I loved this window display
