GA---->PA

Last dinner out with the Star Salon Crew Last day at the salon :(
Saying goodbye to friends
Our crazy place mid moving day
Downtown Atl, rolling out of town for the last time.
Almost there
And we arrived to the 'snow belt'
The move went very well and smooth. GE took care of everything for us and even packed, moved, and unpacked all of our things, and hauled off all the cardboard boxes. Nice! Dustin is crazy busy at work and I am figuring my job situation at the moment. My cosmetology license isn't going to transfer how I wanted it to, and I am going to have to take all of the PA state exams to get my license here. Ugh! Which will take months and hundreds of dollars. Awesome.
Anywho, So far so good here in Erie, minus the few blizzards thus far.

The Last Hoorah! London England!

On the plane. Excited and sad for our last and final Delta international trip!
Buckingham Palace
The Parliament Building
On the 'London Eye' a top the city
Chinese New Year celebration in Trafalgar's Square
Fish n' chips of coarse
Changing of the Queens' guard ceremony at Buckingham Palace
Big Ben
Herrods- Only the biggest, most amazing, fanciest department store I have ever been in. I believe it's one million square feet, 5 stories, with just about anything thing for sale that you could ever think of. It even has 13 restaurants and cafes inside.
My pictures truly do not do the inside justice.
The outside of Herrods. Ya, it was big.
I loved this window display

Ch-Ch-Ch-Ch-Changes

Okay, so another move is in the near future for us. We will be moving to Pennsylvania in a week and half. Dustin got a job with GE in Erie and they want him to start at the end of the month. It's all happened very fast, but we are grateful for this opportunity. We will truly miss GA and all the people, places and experiences that have come with it. And we will really miss our flight benefits!
Time to break out the parkas, hats and gloves, 'cause we are moving North!
We also made one last Delta trip this last weekend to London. Pictures to come!

AZ

Dustin, my mother-in-law Joni, and I had such a good time in Arizona this weekend. We went to AZ because...
1. Dustin and Joni have lots of family there that they have not seen in years and years, and...
2. My sister Erin and her husband Jake that play basketball for BYUHawaii and had games in Phoenix over the weekend. So we went to see them play against Grand Canyon University.
This was the first time I had met any of Joni's family, and I loved every one of them. They were so fun and welcoming to us. We just had a great time. I have never been to Arizona before. I didn't realize how big the cacti grow there. They were huge. My camera doesn't take the best motion shots, but here are Jake and Erin during the games. Go Seasiders! It was fun to catch up with Erin and Jake and be one of the few cheering for the Seasiders at the games. It was also Dustin's Birthday the day of the games. So Happy Birthday Dustin!! One more year and he will be turning the big 3-0. That's pretty weird to think about!

MLK Day

I love when Federal Holidays roll around. It means that Dustin and I both get a full day off during the week to be together and go do fun things in the area. On a normal work week the only day off Dustin and I share is Sunday. So we took advantage of the day and headed to Atlanta.
Started the day off right-(or wrong)- however you want to look at it, with some butterscotch sticky buns. So sinful. Dustin's birthday is the end of this month, so as a b-day gift I scheduled him a golf swing evaluation. They hook you up to all these sensors and video tape your swing and educate you on how to improve. They also put still shots of Dustin's swing side by side with shots from the pros and compared different angles, positions, etc. It was really fun to watch. Dustin's should be good to go on the golf course once it warms up a little bit.
Then we stopped at Maggiano's for lunch.
After we went to the beautiful Lenox mall , where the only thing we left with were some America's Best Cookie Co. cookies sandwiches and a chat with Jennifer Nettles from Sugarland in Crate and Barrel. All in a days work.
